Princess Stories

Episode 9

Rachel sat in the living room. A lot of thoughts filled her mind.
“How am I sure what I’m confessing on a daily basis is working? How am I sure I’m not just wasting my time and getting my hopes up for nothing? For the past 3 months, I’ve lived in expectation of God’s divine intervention in my career but nothing, nothing has happened.” Rachel soliloquized with a discouraged tone, as she stared at her jotter that had a lot of Scriptures she had discovered in the last few months and has been confessing ever since.

“God, how am I sure this thing I’m doing is working?” She asked with her head lifted up towards heaven.

“The words I speak to you, they are spirit and they are life…” She heard like a whisper in her spirit.

“I know where that is in the Bible.” Rachel said to herself as she immediately rushed to her room to grab her Bible.

“It is the spirit that quickens; the flesh profits nothing: the words that I speak to you, they are spirit, and they are life.” She read carefully as she turned her Bible to John chapter 6

“The word I’ve been asking you to confess from the Scriptures are no ordinary words. You need to understand this. They are spirit, and they are life. In due time the words would be made flesh, and you’d enjoy the fruit of your confession of God’s word over the months.

“But when I confess your Word, it doesn’t feel like anything is happen or is going to happen. Infact, sometimes I feel like I’m just speaking ordinarily to pass time.”

“That’s what you think- that nothing is going on in the spirit as you make those confession from the Word; but the truth is, the angels are listening and carrying out what you’re saying.”

“Oh wow, that’s new. Where’s that written in the Bible?”

“Bless the Lord, all ye His angels that excel in strength and do His commandments, harkening unto the voice of His Word.” She heard in her spirit and immediately she turned her Bible to Psalm 103 where she had read something like that before

“The angels of God don’t listen to the voice of your problems, they listen to the voice of the Word of God that you speak concerning your problems. Even if you don’t feel like it, they are there listening to the word of God you’re confessing, and get to work to see to it that what you’re confessing with faith in your heart becomes your reality.”

“Wow! So anytime I’m confessing, declaring and decreeing the Scriptures over any aspect of my life, the angels of God are listening. That’s what you’re saying right?”

“Exactly! But your confessions have to be mixed with faith for without faith, it is impossible to please God.”

“Faith? Of course I have faith! It’s my faith in God that has been making me hang on for this long!”

“Hmmmm….you know when I say faith, I mean absolute faith and trust that what you say is going to happen. If you confess the word and question in your heart whether what you’re confessing is actually going to work, then that means your faith is not absolute….it isn’t rugged yet. Remember when Jesus said you can say to a mountain, be thou removed and be cast into the sea?”

“Yes! That’s Mark 11:23. I read it a few days ago. Wait, let me open to it.” Rachel responded and flipped through the pages of her Bible.

“Now read it carefully, and tell me the conditions He placed there for the mountain to actually move as you have spoken.”

“Okay. For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say to this mountain, be thou removed and be cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” Rachel read to herself.

“The condition is have no doubt at heart, but believe that what you’re saying will happen.” Rachel replied

“Good, so ask yourself if you’re fulfilling these two conditions.” The voice within her said. Rachel was silent for a while with her head bowed.

“I’m sorry God. I’m sorry for accommodating doubt in my heart. Please help my unbelief Lord.”

“It’s alright child, I’m here to teach you and there’d be no need for me if you happen to know it all, right?” The voice within her consoled as she let out a smile and nodded.

“Good, so don’t feel bad. Now you know better, simply make amends. Be conscious of the state of your heart when praying to God or doing anything He asks you to do. Remember that anyone who wavers in faith will not receive anything from God.”

“Hmmm….God, help my unbelief.” Rachel prayed silently as she kept staring at Mark 11:23.

“Can’t get enough of that Scripture huh?” The inner voice asked as she nodded her head

“Looking at it over and over again, it feels like I’m just beginning to understand this particular verse. Like, what Jesus is saying here is that I can say to a mountain to be removed and be cast intot he sea? Wow……asin I should just say it, asin just open my mouth and utter the words- no fasting, no praying, just saying? Hmmmm….”

“Smiles….child you need to understand that the Lord invested so much into you that even your words are powerful. The Word of God in your mouth is as powerful as it is in His mouth, you know that right?”

“Yes…..you’ve told me before.”

“Good. Now let me shock you. Or better still, let me ask you a question. When it comes to mountains, what do you understand by it?”

“Ahah, who doesn’t know what mountains represent? The mountain Jesus was referring to here was anything that stands as an opposition to your achievements in life. It could be mountain of oppression, mountain od depression, mountain of barenness, mountain of failure, mountain of stagnancy. Omo, them plenty.” Rachel responded

“Good, you answered correctly! Now clap for yourself dear.” The gentle voice said as she smiled and clapped like a child.

“Now, my next question for you: how are you expected to speak to your mountain for them to be removed and be cast into the sea?”

“That’s simple too, just follow Jesus’ directive. For example, thou mountain of bareness, I say unto you in the name of Jesus, be thou removed, and be cast into the sea!”

“Oh wow, wow, wow! My baby girl is really a bright child. I love that response, that’s really smart of you!
But you know, it’s you can also move those mountains by speaking the word of God to it. Apart from addressing it directly like you just did, you can address them on a daily basis through your confessions.” Rachel heard from within her and was quiet for a while, as if to let the ‘rhema’ she had just received sink in well.

“You know your confessions, you aren’t praying them, you’re praying them. And most times, you may not have the luxury of time to really always go to a quiet place and pray the way you suggested. Confessing what you want that is contrary to what you’re seeing in your life is obeying this scripture in Mark11:23.

You need to say something before it can be removed, else it would remain there. You need to confess something, before your mountain can be removed. You really need to bank on the word of God and use it to address your mountain and you can be sure it’ll be removed. You know why?”

“Tell me.”

“Because forever, His Word is settled in heaven.”
Rachel flipped the verse open

“And God has also said that whatsoever He hears us say in His ears, that He will do unto us. Now where is that in the Bible.”

“I think it’s in Numbers 14.” Rcahel said as she flipped through the pages of her Bible once more.”

“Yeah, I’ve found it.”

“Now read it out loud, word for word.” The voiuce within instructed as she obeyed

“Look at it again, whatsoever you say. Now it’s no coincidence that Jesus requests that we oly say to the mountain and it’ll be removed.”

“Hmmm…so what I say is powerful….my confessions are powerful. No wonder you’ve been making me onfess the Word of God over my situation on a daily basis. I understand now, Holy Spirit. Thank you so much. I love youuuuuuu. I won’t give up on my declarations. I’d keep making my confessions until they become my reality!”

Anybody had this kind of conversation with the Holy Spirit or something simila? It’s a beautiful experience guys, you should try it out. However, you can’t really hear Him this clearly if you don’t deliberately make out time to do so. And by making out time, I mean having a quiet time.
And if you already have a consistent quiet time and you haven’t gotten to this point yet, relaxxxx. You’s get there soon- sooner than you expect, trust me.

Okay so for our exoectant mommas in the house, you’ve read it all. It’s not wise, neither is it best for you to keep shut. Open your mouth and ‘say’ something

Declare you won’t lose your child.
Declare you and your child will make it out of the labour room alive, hale and hearty.
And if stillbirth is your issue, or miscarriage, please obey the instructions of Jesus and speak to those mountains directly, commanding them to be removed and cast into the sea; then keep making your confessions till it becomes your reality.

When we finally give birth las las, biko bring my rice oooo……lol, just joking though
