My Comfort Zone Season 2 Episodes 11-End
Season 2
Episode 16
“You will not have this child.”
“Hehehe, I have him already if you don’t know.”
“It’s a lie! Who is he that saith a thing and it comes to pass when the Lord commanded it not?”
“Before you quote the scripture to me, check yourself if you’re in right standing.
Why didn’t you listen to your God when He wanted to instruct you about where and where not to enroll your child? Now I’m using your disobedience to him to my advantage, you’re quoting His word to me. If you can’t obey the owner of the word, then don’t quote it to me please.”

“Jesus!” Was what escaped Anita’s lips as soon as she woke up from her dream.
“What is it? What happened?” Frank asked, frightened by the manner in which she had woken up that morning.
“I had a bad dream. A terrible one that it’s giving me goosebumps all over.” Anita said as she grabbed her phone to make a call.
“She’s not picking. Oh God! I need to see my son! I’ve been saying this for over two days now ehn, nothing must happen to my son o.”
“Have you tried explaining to your boss?”
“Honey I’ve tried. But she keeps insisting that I’ve taken enough excuses for the month, so it’s until the next month before she’d tolerate my absence again. Hei God ooo.”
“Hmmm….I can go see him then. I’m sure my boss wouldn’t mind.”
“I know, but I want to see him myself! I want to set my eyes on my son.” Anita said and just then her phone rang.
“She’s the one calling…..” Anita said and answered the call.
“Hello Ma.”
“Hello dear, I saw your missed call.”
“Yes Ma, good morning Ma. I’m so sorry for calling you this early.
“It’s okay, it’s not a problem. Anyway now that you’ve called, let me remind you that we’d be expecting guests from JJC&Co. today, and your presence would behighly needed because you’d be the one to make the presentation to them.”
“Hmmm…okay Ma.”
“Is that okay by you?”
Yes, sure Ma. It’s okay by me.”
“Good. And about your days off, I can grant that to you next week. At least that’s when the new month is commencing. Is that okay?”
“Yes Ma. Thank you Ma.” Anita said
“What did she say?” Frank asked as soon as the call had ended.
“Till next week before I see my son.”
“That’s five days from now.”
“Exactly my point! 5days is too far; a lot of things can happen in five days now.”
“Don’t worry, nothing will happen to our child. I’d branch at his school this morning before leaving for work, and I’m certain he will be fine.”

“Hey wake up.” Teji said with a hushed tone as he tapped Ken consistently
“It’s almost midnight. Get up and let us pray.” Teju said when Ken turned to him with his sleepy eye.
“Does it have to be midnight? Can’t we pray some other time?” Ken asked as soon as they were done with their 15mins prayer
“Of course you can…but you told me the nightmares come around this time, so I thought it wise to pray by this time so the nightmares wouldn’t come.”
“Hmmm…and truth be told, the nightmares have stopped. I no longer see masquerades in my dreams.” Ken said and Teju smiled.
“But then, I can’t help but admit that I still need to talk to my parents about what I’m passing through here. Paul is still on my neck physically.”
“Don’t worry, as from now on, we’d become more serious about it. So at least you’d leave this school or something.”

Anita couldn’t sleep that night. All that was on her mind was her son Ken.
“God, all the dreams I’ve been having of late aren’t palatable at all. I feel like the devil is strongly attacking my son, but my hands are tied. I can’t even reach him on the phone because I don’t know who to call.
God please, don’t let anything happen to my son.”
Anita prayed as she shed a few tears. She had wanted to go on praying but felt a restriction in her heart, directing her towards reading her Bible instead.
“And on the morrow when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry:
And seeking a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet….” Anita read from her Bible.
“You’re reading quite fast. Where are you rushing to?” She heard what seemed like a gentle whisper
“I feel quite sleepy.” Anita responded.
“Don’t worry, you’d soon sleep. But I want you to take this particular verse you’re reading slowly.”
“Which one? The story of Jesus cursing the fig tree?” She asked.
“Yes exactly, that one.” The gentle voice responded and Anita obeyed, reading the passage intentionally.
“Did you notice what happened there?” He asked.
“Jesus cursed the fig tree and it dried up.” Anita replied
“Good. And why is that?”
“Because He is God?”
“Are you kidding me? Read it again. Infact, go to verse 22.”
“And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.”
“Good. That’s the answer to my question. It was faith that made what he spoke to become a reality.
So about your son, if you cannot get to him physically at the moment, why don’t you make use of the mouth God has given to you, mixed with faith and declare that the enemy will not win this battle.” Anita heard within her and thought for a while
“You have your Bible. Find Scriptures to war with for the soul of your son. Distance may be a barrier in the physical realm, but it isn’t in the spirit.”
Like a flash of lightning, Anita flipped the pages of her Bible to one of her favorite verses.
“No weapon formed against my son Ken shall prosper, in the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus I condemn every tongue rising up against Ken in judgment.
It is written, resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Ken…Ken…Kennn, hear the word of the Lord, receive the power from God to resist any form of battle the devil is bringing your way right now, in the name of Jesus.
I declare over your life Ken, that no divination or incantation against your life shall stand, because you’re filled with power, and with the Spirit of the Lord.
I place a mark of Jesus on you, to immune you from all attacks of the enemy now, in the name of Jesus. Associate yourselves o ye enemies of my son Ken, and ye shall be broken in pieces, and give ear o ye enemies far and near. Gird yourselves against Ken, and ye shall be broken in pieces.
Guard yourselves against my son Ken, and ye shall be broken in pieces. Take counsel together against him and it shall come to nought, speak the word and it shall not stand, for God is with him” Anita prayed earnestly as she blasted in tongues
TBC
Honestly ehn, if I tell you say this experience no sweet, na lie be that.
I just love the Holy Spirit, and the way He does His things. No cap.
If you can’t reach out to your loved ones by reason of distance or any other excuse, biko pray the word of God over them………….e go reach them wherever they are, no worry.
