Episode 10

“No that’s not possible! It can’t be my son you’re talking about.I didn’t raise my son to involve in gambling or any social vice.” Anita argued at the police station

“Madam will you calm down? Ah ah! Calm down abeg. That’s not your son, that’s not your son, isn’t he the one in this photo?” The police officer asked, dangling a photograph before her which she snatched and stared at in shock

“But it’s not possible.” She whispered to herself with a shaky voice. Just then, she sighted someone walk into the station with his hands at the back with one of the police officers were escorting him. Her instincts told her they were about putting him in a cell

“Wait….Ken?” Anita called out as she tried to get a closer view at the familiar face.

“Mommy? Mommy!” The young boy said and made to approach her but was stopped by the police officer. He pleaded to have a minute with Anita but all his pleas fell on deaf ears.

“Mummy it wasn’t me. I swear it wasn’t me. It’s an issue of mistaken identity mom, you know I would never let you down mom please.” The boy said as they dragged him away. Antia couldn’t help it; she cried her eyes out right where she was standing.

“It can’t be. God, this shouldn’t be.” She kept saying

“Honey? Honey?” Frank called, shaking his wife gently in a bid to wake her up.

“It can’t be, it just can’t be.” Frank heard when he placed his ear near her mouth to hear wwheat she was murmuring.

“What can’t be? Honey please wake up.” Frank said as he tapped his wife a little harder this time.

“Jesus.” She said when she finally woke up.

“What is it? What happened? Who abi what did you see?”

“A dream. So it was a dream! Oh thank you Jesus, thank you Jesus, thank you Jesus! My son isn’t in prison, it was a dream!” Anita said as she left the bed and went on her knees, with her hands up in the air in thanksgiving.

“So what happened? What is going on?” Frank asked. Before Anita could open her mouth and explain, their little girl Hadassah walked into their room, after making a little noise on the door.

“Daddy I had a bad dream.” Hadassah said and leaned on her dad who carried her and placed her on the bed

“A dream?” Her father asked as she nodded

“They were dragging and accusing Ken for doing something bad.” She said simply as her parents exchanged looks.

Just then, a call came in.

“Hello? Yes, spaking. What? Right nw? Okay we’re on our way.” Frank said and ended the call.

“It’s the school principal, he said our attention is needed at her office right away.” Frank announced and Anita’s heart sank for a moment

“God please, let it not be what I’m thinking.”

Belinda was sweating profusely

“Madam push, you’re getting there.” She could hear the midwife encourage as she tried with all her strength.

“I can’t I can’t. I’m tired.” She said as she laid back on the bed, bathed in her own sweat.

“Madam this isn’t the time to give up. You have to be strong.” The midwife encouraged. Belinda heaved a sigh. Just then, it felt like she saw something like an image in front of her. It wasn’t clear enough, but something within her knew whatever she was seeing was behind her hard labour.

“Jesus, Jesus! God help me.” Belinda said within with fear within. Just then, a scripture dropped in her heart.

“Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed and be cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass, he shall have whatsoever he saith.”

Belinda closed her eyes in prayer.

My Comfort Zone Season 2

“Thou mountain of impossibility staring at me in the face, I speak to you right now, be thou removed and be cast into the sea, in the name of Jesus. Thou mountain of stillbirth, I say unto you, be thou removed, and be cast into the sea, in the name of Jesus.” She prayed in her heart since no words came out of her mouth as a result of the weakness she felt in her body.

“It is written that when I say unto a mountain to be removed and be cast into the sea, with my doubt in my heart, I shall have whatsoever I say. Therefore thou mountain of stillbirth, thou mountain of death, I speak to you right now, be thou removed and be cast into the sea in the name of Jesus!” She kept praying in her heart and began to speak in tongues.

My Comfort Zone Season 2

It got to a point that after a while, she found the strength to voice out the tongues she was speaking within her, and like someone whp had been charged within, she opened her eyes forcefully, grabbed the metal of the bed with her two hands and gave out the last push.

“Thank you Jesus.” She whispered when she heard the cry of a baby.

“Congratulations ma’am, I know you could do it.” She heard the midwife say beside her, but she didn’t bother looking at her as she praised God in the spirit.

David was literally soaked in prayers when she noticed his wife’s strange movements on the bed. First it was a groan, then tears. Afraid, he had wanted to wake her up as his instincts told him she was probably having a bad dream. But on a second thought, he placed his hand on her head and began to pray aggressively in tongues.

When he noticed she was quoting the scripture in whispers, he was encouraged to pray harder.

Gradually he could hear her speak in tongues. He then moved his hand from her head to her hands which he held tight and continued praying. At some point she squeezed his hands tightly and let out a soft moan.

“Thank you Jesus….Thank you Jesus….Thank you Jesus. Voctory at last, thank you Jesus.” She said in whispers.

David smiled at this and decided it was time to wake her up.

“It was a dream? Jesus, I didn’t know.” Belinda said when she was conscious of her environment

“Yes it was; and something tells me it was a victorious dream.” David said with a smile

“It truly was.” She replied as she narrated what she saw in her dream.

“Wow…wow wow wow wow!” David kept saying as he listened to his wife.

“Hmmm….you know that scripture has literally been jumping at me lately and just a few hours ago, I asked Him to explain it to me in a simple manner I could understand and now this? Wow….Just wow. Babe as much as you were the one that had the dream, it’s actually God’s response to my request of making that particular scripture plain before my face.”

“Hmmm….if I say to a mountain…just saying, not even praying and fasting or anything really hectic. If I could just say to a mountain to be removed and be cast into the sea, it’d happen that way, as long as I have faith. Wow. Our words are really powerful o.” Belinda said as she thought on her encounter in her dream over and over again.

“Hmm….It’s also no wonder the Bible says whatsoever He hears us say He’d do to us. I believe He said that because we wants us to take full advantage of the power of the tongue and make use of it wisely. I mean if you read through the Bible, you’d come to understand that our words are powerful, most especially as Christains.” David said as Belinda nodded her head in understanding.

“Hmmm….and funny enough, God has been taking me through the Scriptures on how powerful our words can be. To me, this dream is a simple confirmation that we’d have this victory by the power of our tongue.” David said as she rubbed her tommy softly.

“Hmm…I think so too; because for the past few months now, all I’ve been led to do is to quote the Scriptures each day, confessing that I’ve already won, and I have my babies in my hands. And I noticed that the more I made my confessions as the Spirit of God directs me to various Bible passages in my heart, the greater my faith develops like it is done already. I have my baby in my arms!…..” Belinda said and David gave a light smile

“It shall be as you have spoken dear, your faith has made thee whole already….”

Okay let me say something really important here
If you’ve been really praying, or better still, if you’re really praying throughout the 9months journey, there’s no way, there’s just no where you wouldn’t get an instruction from God.

For Belinda, it has been revealed to her that her victory lies in confessing the word of God irrespective of what the situation might look like; for you, it might be that your victory lies in breaking certain curses, or building faith through His Word……I don’t know exactly what your own instruction might be, and that is why you have to pray yourself and please be intentional about it because God does answers prayers.
Sometimes, I think we miss out on the answers God sends our way because we aren’t really expectant or God-conscious. So please, as you’re praying or probably standing in the gap for someone, BE EXPECTANT.
Expect an instruction from God that’ll guide you on how to possess your victory.
So the conclusion of todays’ episode is? BE EXPECTANT. It is very important, more than important.
