CHAPTER 23

DEMETRIO’S MANSION**

“When will you be meeting with Dario?” Ezekiel asked making Demetrio to sigh.

“I want to wake Arianna up first, before doing that” Demetrio said.

“I will suggest that you meet him first, knowing fully well that Damoness has already met with him…who knows what she has told him… Dario couldn’t tell me what he discussed with her…” Ezekiel trailed off with a sigh.

“Am traveling to h’ll basement” Demetrio suddenly said.

Ezekiel immediately widened his eyes.

“The land of dead?” He asked.

“Yes,I will bring the book of Mormon” Demetrio replied.

“Why?” Ezekiel asked.

“It’s where the answers on how to wake Arianna up is…” Demetrio replied.

“You know coming back from hell basement isn’t all that possible, it’s the land of dead for fûcking sake” Ezekiel hissed and face palmed himself.

“I don’t care, I must wake her up” Demetrio muttered.

Just then they felt a presence. They turned around to see someone they least expected.

“Looking for this” Queen Damoness asked, she has the book of Mormon.

“The book of Mormon” Demetrio muttered.

“What are you doing here Damoness?” Ezekiel asked with a cold voice, his fangs is about to protrude out.

“Calm down” Demetrio muttered making him to calm down.

“I just came to help, am making everything easy for you Demetrio” Damoness chuckled evilly.

“What do you mean?” Ezekiel asked.

“I will give you this book, I Know is very important to you” Damoness smiled, her eyes instantly landed on the unconscious Arianna who is inside a casket.

“The answers on how to wake her up is inside this book…guess what? You don’t even need to turn her into a va.mpire” Damoness grinned.

Demetrio and Ezekiel exchanged glances.

“What do you want Damoness?” Demetrio asked.

“Huh” Damoness blink.

“Because we know you don’t offer things for free” Ezekiel frowned.

Damoness stared at them for sometime, she instantly burst out into a hearty laughter.

“Guess you both know the adge that goes with… nothing goes for nothing” She muttered.

“So what do you want?” Ezekiel asked.

“Very simple, Demetrio will follow me to the underworld…Damon just wants to have a chit chat with him. Damoness said.

Ezekiel immediately started laughing.

“Are you nuts?” He suddenly asked when his laugh died down.

He turned to look at Demetrio who has been quiet.

“I will go with you” Demetrio muttered making Ezekiel to widen his eyes.

KING BASMUS’S CHAMBER***

King Basmus stared at the pipe of smoke in his hands, the last words of Dario before he left…rang in his head.

“Since you have denied me the privilege of been your son…then that will remain forever…you are now a total stranger to me…long live your majesty” He bowed and left.

King Basmus suddenly threwed his pipe away in extreme anger.

“Shank!!” He called.

“Yes your majesty” Shank entered Inside.

“Tomorrow morning, you will send a message for me to king Ingnar… Arianna’s father” King Basmus ordered.

“Yes your majesty” Shank bowed and left.
