CHAPTER 80

“All Rise for the king!!” The guard announced as everybody Rose to their feet bowing at once.

King Basmus smiled …King Henrick was beside him. They both took their seats… the highest seats.

King Basmus’s eyes moved around, a frown came to plaster on his face.

“Where is princess Liza?” He asked.

“Princess Liza is slightly sick that’s why she couldn’t make it your majesty” Queen Lola responded with smiles on her face.

“When she recovers tell her to visit my chamber” King Basmus said making Queen Lola to smile inwardly as she gave Queen Diane a hard glare, she wasn’t even looking at her.

“Will do that your majesty” She bowed.

“Let’s dine” Immediately the king picked up his cutleries everybody else did the same…as they dined in silence. Dining with the king on same table is a rare something.

“This isn’t just an ordinary breakfast bouquet…this is also a good strategy of pre_joining two people together” King Basmus announced his voice dry.

King Henrick took a glance from his friend not understanding anything.

Benita and Benito exchanged glances wondering what the king is up to.

“Princess Thana” King Basmus called and Thana gazed up to look him on the face.

“Yes your majesty” She answered respectfully with faint smiles on her face.

“Do you mind coming into my family?” He asked…Thana smiled concealing her confusion.

“I don’t understand your majesty” She said.

“Do you mind getting married to king Basmus family?”

Benito and Benita exchanged eye widened glances.

Dario paused cutting the steak he was about to cut. Javier grinned inwardly.

Seems his mother talked to the king about him wanting to marry Princess Thana and now it seems the king is about to announce it.

Such a big blow to Dario. Hehehehe!

Everywhere turned extremely calm like a grave yard…only tension filled the air because of one man’s words but he’s not just a man but the king himself.

The food Thana was eating turned sore in her mouth…she wasn’t expecting the question…why will he come up with such question?

Is this the reason for this bouquet? Is her father aware of that? All gaze was rather plastered on her waiting for her answer.

Is a taboo to keep the king waiting rather she decided to say whatever that comes to her mind…yes …she will just blurt out whatever that comes to her mind.

“Your majesty…” She made to speak up but King Basmus beat her to it.

“Don’t worry I know who will be perfect for you between my two Sons…Dario” King Basmus faced Dario who had his head lowered all this time.

Hearing the king call his name, he gently gaze up to look at him on his face, his face was as blank as hell including the king but he covered his with fake smiles.

“Who do you think will be perfect for princess Thana between You and Prince Javier?” Yet another tension filled the air.

King Basmus chuckled up as he cut himself a piece of steak putting it into his mouth he glanced towards Javier’s direction.

Javier smiled inwardly knowing the king’s eyes was upon him.

‘Just announce it father and stop beating around the bush!’ He muttered inwardly.

“What game is this ugly Forster father of yours playing?” White Demon questioned…he doesn’t like the atmosphere.

“I’m still waiting for your answers princess Thana… would you mind coming into my family so that the bond between I and your father would be more stronger” King Basmus questioned again, drawing everybody’s attention to himself again.

Thana gulped down her heart beating against her chest. She gazed towards Dario who had his head lowered eating so silently.

Is this her chance? Is this her chance of choosing the man of her dream? Smiling inwardly she returned her attention to the king.

She made to speak.

“Don’t worry Princess Thana…I will make the suggestion for you” King Basmus said his eyes transferring towards Javier who instantly grinned inwardly.

Thana’s heart started beating so damn fast in fear…is he going to choose Prince Javier for her. With his eyes on Javier everyone already Knows whom the king is gonna choose for her.

“I suggest Prince Dario”.
