CHAPTER 43

WOODS***

After taking his bath, Dario left the palace through his secret Routine as usual.

The woods was silent, only the cries and songs of the night birds and insects was heard but yet the Woods was as quiet as ever.

Dario was seating down, he had the Crafted bird that thana returned to him an hour ago.

He was looking down at it with so many thoughts running through his head.

The words thana said to him was what occupied his head now.

He doesn’t understand how he was feeling now.

He is angry, sad, frustrated and depressed.

Did he push her so hard, Did he hurt her alot? Did he do the right thing, all he was trying to do is to protect her from himself and him.

If she kept coming closer to him she will get hurt and he will turn to a big mo.nster…like how the woman whom claimed to be his mother thirteen years ago, said to him.

As these thoughts kept running through his head, he heard footsteps coming at his back.

“Zek is that you? Thank goodness…..” He turned to look but his words stucked inside his throat cos of what he saw.

It was a very dirty va.mpire looking down at him, his garment was torn, his skin was blue in color, infact the va.mpire was looking so much like a mo.nster.

Before Dario can react, the mo.nster Held his neck strangling him, Dario struggled to free himself but the mo.nster was so strong…Dario felled down and the mo.nster hovered over him.

Strength from nowhere came over Dario as he threw the mo.nster away, his eyes turned red, fangs out, nails long.

He stood up.

“Darn” He cvrsed because their was more of those mo.nsters coming out from the woods.

They were many, Dario was now turning around from this angle to this angle…in other to attack.

Suddenly he groaned and felled on his knees, he touched his neck and felt blood stain…it’s seems the mo.nster scratch his neck and it’s nails is poisonous.

Dario was feeling more weak as he groaned the more, he was actually groaning because the mo.nsters are now coming closer to him…from various àngles. He was now helpless…he can’t defend himself.

Is this the way he is gonna die?

The mo.nsters rushed and wanted to pounce on him but suddenly two people appeared and threw them all away.

It was Demetrio and Ezekiel in their va.mpire State.

“Look after him Ezekiel, I will handle them” Demetrio said and like a lightening he tore and distroyed the va.mpire looking mo.nsters.

It didn’t even take him up to a minute, they were like a piece of paper to him, throwing and toring them apart.

“Are you okay?” Ezekiel held Dario.

Dario looked forward, Demetrio was moving so fast and Dario couldn’t get to see him.

“Who is he?” Dario asked weakly.

“That’s Demetrio, the one I wanted to introduce you to” Ezekiel replied.

Dario hearing the name widened his eyes.

“Demetrio? You mean the Demetrio you told me it’s story about?” Dario asked.

“Yes, the most powerful vampire living on Earth” Ezekiel replied.

“Oh my goodness” Dario muttered as he watch Demetrio approach them, he was like a god living on Earth, he is so handsome.

He was so intriguing to watch, to say that he didn’t sustain any scratch and stain from fighting those mo.nsters was what surprised Dario.

“Argrrr!” Dario groaned suddenly and held his stomach, he coughed out blood…he was dieing slowly.

Demetrio widened his eyes and squatted down.

“Do it now Demetrio, tell him who he is and who you are to him, so that he will have his powers and be able to heal” Ezekiel suddenly said.

“Look at me Dario” Demetrio muttered and Dario weakly opened his eyes.

“Am Demetrio your biological father, you are a va.mpire…the son of the most powerful va.mpire” Demetrio said.

Strength from nowhere came over Dario as he widened his eyes.

He looked at Ezekiel.

“What is he talking about?” He asked and stood up from the ground, including Demetrio and Ezekiel.

The wounds he sustained from the mo.nster that attacked him has started healing.

“He is your father” Ezekiel nodded.

Dario snapped his eyes at Demetrio.

“Your mother Arianna was my mate, although she was married to king Basmus…we were both inlove with each other……..”

“Why the h’ll am I finding out now!!” Dario half yelled cutting Demetrio off.
