CHAPTER 41

“Have me punished in his place your majesty” Thana said again as a drop of tear felled down her eyes.. which was still locked with Dario’s own.

King Basmus with a creased brows stared down at them, he was lost of words.

Words shouldn’t be used to express to him that Princess Thana has interest in Prince Dario.

Is all over her, including when she applied the oil balm on him years back.

His eyes instantly diverted off them, going towards Benita who came running Inside.

Javier has long furiously left.

“Your majesty, my father” Benita Bowed, King Basmus nodded… waiting for her own drama.

Is she gonna to beg for prince Dario’s release too?

“I apologise on behalf of Princess Thana for her intrusion father” Benita bowed more lower, she slowly walked towards Thana, she bend down and held her by the shoulder.

“Let’s leave here if you don’t want to double the punishment for prince Dario” Benita whispered silently to Thana.

What was she thinking? That the king will just listen to her?

She looked at Dario who was still looking at her.

“Thana” Benita muttered as she helped her up.

Thana looked up at King Basmus, she and Benita bowed…they turned and left.

Dario slightly lowered his head, so many thoughts started running through his Head.

QUEEN LOLA’S CHAMBER***

Javier stepped into his mother’s chamber with a long face, Liza was in there with their mother.

As usual Queen Lola is taking care of her nails and skin…she always wants to look the best…she doesn’t wanna look old a bit.

She doesn’t want King Basmus to have eyes for Queeb Diane because she is young. She too wants to look young and beautiful always.

“Why that long face Javier?” Queen Lola asked. Liza looked at him on the face, before she returned her attention to what she was doing. She was doing her own nails by herself, while Queen Lola’s personal maid is doing hers.

Javier sat down tapping his feet on the marble floor.

“Mother” He called.

“Yes son” Queen Lola looked at him.

“I want to marry princess Thana” He said out of the blue.

“What?” Liza scoffed where she is.

Queen Lola smiled.

“Are you sure about this discussion you have made?” She asked. Javier marrying Thana will benefit them all…like it will make their power in the palace to be more stronger because Thana is a princess.

“Yes mother, I love her” Javier nodded.

“Then you have my support” Queen Lola nodded.

“I will talk to the king about it” She added.

“Mother” Liza was angry.

“Do you have anything to say?” Javier asked her.

“I can’t believe you accepted his request just like that” Liza said.

“Why? Because you don’t like Thana? Am the one marrying her not you!” Javier glared at her.

“You will be getting ready, Because sooner or later you will get married to the most prominent man in this kingdom…well is your father that will choose…

Since you have rejected all the men that has come for your hand in marriage” Queen Lola said and Liza frowned in response.

“You arn’t getting any younger sister” Javier grinned.

“Fk you” Liza glared at him.
