Dooshima was dressed in a orange coloured Ankara gown that blended with her chocolate brown skin , and gave her a pronounced appearance of a model .

The restaurant occupied a one storey building, on the Yandev road , a one way mirror like glass covered the frontage of the restaurant, from ground to roof , so only those inside the restaurant that could see outside. Ogwuche held the door open for Dooshima , she smiled from a corner of her face that was hidden from Ogwuche .

They sat opposite each other , the waiter came with a menu booklet , Dooshima only requested for chicken pie and a pack of juice . Ogwuche watched Dooshima as she ate softly and gracefully.

“Would the snack be enough for you ?” He asked ,she nodded , but wouldn’t say a word . Ogwuche ate his remaining food in silence , again there was an uncomfortable silence that made his legs itch . Their plates were removed , by the waiters who were dressed in black jackets , black shirts and black bow ties .

“So Dr Ogwuche you have been writing a lot of things to me , I came here to watch say them live.” Dooshima stated and Ogwuche was silent watching .

“You see I’ve had people stare at me wherever I go all through my teenage years and now my early twenties , countless have approached me online and offline for a relationship.”She explained . “But you know what ?” She asked and he shook his head .

“I turned them all down , first of all am a Christian , and my father is big pastor , a respected lawyer in this state . I cannot bring shame to his name , most of them would promise no sex , a sex free relationship, just give them two months they started disturbing your life .” She said with a straight face .

“That’s why I’ve stayed away from any relationship. I just want to give you a try because you’re relentless and too resilient, you don’t know when to give up .

For three months , you’ve been disturbing my life , night and day with your messages, at last my heart failed me .” She said with a smile as he also smiled . “What do you want with me Mr Ogwuche? be specific.” Dooshima asked .

“How do you mean ? I don’t get your question Lillian .” Ogwuche lied , she smiled , he could tell she was sure he knew what she was talking about .

“Stop playing cat and mouse games with me , I love going straight to the point , I am not being desperate for marriage or anything. But I am not into relationship for fun, so Mr Ogwuche Simon Ogar tell me what your plans are with me .”

“Dooshima You’re a prize I want to win in life .You’re the only woman I want to call wife , you’re the only one I want to see first everyday I wake , you’re the one I want to grow old with .”Dooshima looked into his soul , and found the pureness of his intentions.

“You see I have never fallen in love with anyone the way I feel about you .” Ogwuche said passionately. “Just thinking about you , makes me burn with happiness and joy.
The past three months have been the best of all my life . I just want you to be my wife , my joy giver , my sunshine and my rain ,I will save up money in a two years and we’ll get married .”

He said with a serious face, but Dooshima burst into laughter he got confused .
“Why are you laughing Dooshima do I sound funny ?” Ogwuche asked with a quizzical look on his face .

“No but your intensity is …”She laughed , he loud the energy she put in laughter. “I just want to know that I can trust you ,that you won’t waste my time , and that you won’t start asking for what I cannot give along the way, I don’t fit into any stereotype .” Dooshima said with a straight face .

“Dooshima there’s a way you would love a person , that you’ll do everything to keep them near you .” He said Dooshima nodded . “Just agree to be mine I would treat you like a queen that you are. And the air I breath.”
