CHAPTER 110

The engagement ritual is today, the whole family is all present to witness it…and also some other prominent and elders of the king Court.

King Basmus wasn’t there, but his friend King Henrick Thana’s father is present to witness and stand in his place. Sighting his daughter enter the hall smiles beamed on his face.

“My beautiful daughter, choose wisely” He muttered and also wished His friend King Basmus was here.

“I pray and hope Thana chooses brother Dario” Benito said to Benita who just gave out a nod she didn’t respond.

‘Thana I pray and wished you choose brother Dario’ She muttered inwardly as her eyes was now on Thana who had marched towards the ritual priestess to collect her ritual lipstick.

All eyes was on her, she wore a Flora flower red garment that flowed down her legs, it’s heavy and beautiful.

When her eyes met with Dario’s she smiled, Dario returned the smile.

His eyes not leaving her until he had Javier talk.

“My wife to be is looking so much beautiful” They were seating close to each other, a set of armchair were eyes will be seeing them clearly.

Dario ignored Javier’s words.

Thana bowed to the ritual Priestess, who wore black throughout looking so much evil.

She used the red lipstick on her hands and applied it on Thana’s lips.

“This isn’t an ordinary lipstick, whosoever you peck with this lips shall forever be your husband…now go unto the stage and show us whom you choose between the two princes.

Remember this is inevitable, so choose wisely Princess Thana” The ritual priestess bowed. Thana smiled and returned the bow.

“Good luck” The priestess gave her an encouraging smile.

“Thanks priestess” Saying this she turned and walked so slowly towards the two princes.

Tense mood filled the whole Atmosphere as everybody anticipated to know whom she will choose.

“Here comes my beautiful wife, come to me, come and claim me” Javier said his hard eyes on Thana, but her eyes was elsewhere not only her eyes but also her attention and footsteps.

Murmurs arose in the hall.

Javier looked at the direction she was going as anger filled his whole being. It was Prince Dario! She’s headed to prince Dario!

“No it can’t be! She’s mine!” Javier mumbled.

Thana reached her destination and bowed before Dario who smiled.

“You’re so beautiful” He whispered. Thana smiled.

Javier’s eyes lingered on her back, she turned her head to look at him and that was when Their both eyes locked.

“Come to me” Javier muttered.

Thana looked away from him, she returned her attention back to Dario, she leaned down in other to peck him, Her lips coming close to his cheeks…

Suddenly she moved away from him, her direction headed towards Javier, getting close to him, she leaned down and pecked him, everybody gasps in total shock.
