“This is alcoholic? ” Ogwuche nodded,Dooshima said as she collected the bottle of Smirnoff ice and raised it up close to her face. “Can I taste it? ” Dooshima asked and Ogwuche nodded.

“It might get you intoxicated. ” Dooshima nodded, and pour almost half of the bottle into a paper cup she took a sip, her face contorted, she had a funny look on her face. “This feels so hot, why do you guys drink it? You know alcohol is bad? ” Dooshima said as she took another sip and emptied the cup . Ogwuche crackled, he wondered why one would continue drinking something she hated.

“Well the truth is that I don’t drink alcohol so much. I just take it once in a while. Please it’s enough. ” He took the red paper cup from her. “This is your first time, don’t take too much. ” He said.

Dooshima was already feeling so light headed, she felt like she was floating in the air. She yawned. “Please babe let’s start going home. My eyes are heavy. ” Ogwuche laughed so much, Dooshima was almost falling off from her seat.

“I’ll never take alcohol again my head. ” Dooshima grumbled as she felt like a sledgehammer was breaking her head . Ogwuche continued laughing.

“Why see you laughing? ” Dooshima asked as they hit the road to Gboko . Her phone was ringing when she took it out , it was her father Calling.
She poured the remaining into the empty cup and drank much of it before Ogwuche took the cup from her and finished it up.

“Her phone was ringing inside her handbag.” Hello daddy?” Dooshima said as soon as she picked the call. Professor Gamadi something was wrong from the way she sounded over the phone.

“Dooshima are you okay? ” He asked.

“Yeah Daddy I am good. I just have a slight headache.” Dooshima said. “I’ll be fine dad. ” she said.

“Okay baby I’ll send some money into your account, just go to the hospital to have a blood test okay? ” He said.
“Okay dad I’ll do that. ”

“I hope you didn’t forget today was your birthday again? ” The professor asked, Dooshima managed to laugh out.

“No daddy Annabel reminded me this morning. ”
“I just called to say a big and very happy birthday to you, I’ll get you a gift when I get to America, your mum sends her best wishes , we are on our way to the airport right now. ” The professor said, Dooshima knew he was just putting in words for her mother, she knew her mother wasn’t happy with her before she left.

“I’ve transfered two hundred thousand naira into your account , use it to buy whatever you want. I’ll be bringing you a special Gift for your birthday from The US.”

Dooshima thanked her dad. She could her mother complaining in the background that Two hundred thousand naira was too much, wondering what The professor wanted Dooshima to do with it, she accused him of being the one who was too soft on Dooshima. She wondered if she and her mother would ever get along again.

“I don’t want to go home this way. Just park the car here, let me try to sleep for a bit, to see if I feel better , I can’t let my parents see me this way on the CCTV. I don’t think I can walk on my own. ” Dooshima said, Ogwuche reversed the SUV and drove to his house instead.

He helped Dooshima into the house, .,……………
“Ohhh my head hurts! ” Dooshima cried. “I feel so terrible right now! ”

“Let me get you aspirin from the pharmacy, it will help with the headache.” Ogwuche said, he gave her yoghurt from the fridge, before driving off to get the drug from a nearby restaurant, before he would return , She had vomited on her body and messed up the floor.

“Am sorry I messed up your house. ” Dooshima apologized to Ogwuche. “I don’t know how this happened.” She thought he would be mad at him, but he wasn’t, instead he showed her to the bathroom in his,with the trousers of his pajamas, before he returned to the sitting room to clean it up. Then took her clothes to the washing room, and had it washed in the washing machine.

“Hey Lillian how do you feel now? ” Ogwuche asked, Dooshima was still under the tap as cold water doused her skin. She felt like the ground was sinking below her.

“I am not fine, my eyes are dizzy,My head is heavy, gosh!please never let me take alcohol again. ” Dooshima begged. “I don’t have a head for that.”

she said with a slurred voice from inside of the bathroom, Ogwuche laughed so hard that she got pissed. Dooshima was dressed in his round neck polo and pajamas trousers, waiting for her clothes to dry up , Ogwuche’s eyes fell fell upon the contours of Dooshima’s firm protruding nipples, he took his eyes away, so fast but not before he got captivated and enchanted .

He sat in front of the television, trying to take off his mind from the shape and beauty of Dooshima’s body, the television was on but his brain was imagining her naked before him.
He climbed back into the the bedroom.

“Why are you looking at me that way ? ” Dooshima asked,taking her eyes off the screen of her phone, her heart was beating in her chest, she couldn’t tell what her next move would be,

she felt the burning desire to feel his lips on hers, without a word he saw the flame burning in her, so be crawled into the bed, Dooshima knelt on the bed with her lips almost touching his, Ogwuche kissed her , she pushed him off while laughing. “I know what you’re thinking in your head. you want to sleep with me.”

Dooshima said laughing the alcohol was still strong in her system. She pulled Ogwuche to the bed. They lay intertwine on the bed , covered under the duvet , the room was freezing cold.

“Wow it’s eight P. M already! ” Dooshima cried when she got up from bed . “Jesus what did I just do ? ” she cried and gathered the duvet around her body. Ogwuche stumbled out of the bed to find his clothes.

“What baby I thought you wanted it? ” He asked Dooshima, she was angry and speechless. He stood there looking at her.

“I need to go home now!” Dooshima yelled,he got confused. Ogwuche had dressed up in a tracksuit trousers and a white round neck shirt, came to the bed and held Dooshima’s arm.

“Baby please calm down, first I need to go and get your cloth from the back of the house. I’ll have to sneak you out of the house, my aunt and cousins should be around now. ” Ogwuche said before he left the room, Dooshima got out of the bed and fetched her

They ran into his cousin while they were heading out of the house he greeted them, they got into the compound. Ada was in her room watching as the couple got into the black Land Cruiser and drove out of the compound.
