CHAPTER 120

Dario came out of his hiding place, he needs to confirm what they had said.

Benita and Benito can’t be dead and Queen Diane can’t just kll her children like that. If they are truly dead then it’s Agass and Asin hand work.

“No, it can’t be” He muttered to himself, he decided to confirm for himself… after confirming it he was shredded…he even found out that Queen Diane and Pablo met their d.eath while trying to escape.

“No…No” He shook his head in disbelief.

“This is insane, Those Demons needs to be stopped. What’s your plan Dario?” Zaus asked.

“I don’t know, i don’t have a place in this palace anymore…I have been United with My mother and father…King Basmus should carry his cross. The people very close to me are no longer here” Dario responded.

“Agass and Asin are demons, anywhere you’re they most surely find you.

You must stop them Dario and remember Thana isn’t so much safe yet as far as the demon obesssed with her is still out there” Zaus tried persuading him.

Dario sighed out in frustration.

“What should I do now?” He asked.

“This is your cross to carry Dario, I’m just here to advice you” Zaus responded.

“Hey what’s your name?” A higher rank of guard approached him making Dario to be on a high guard as he immediately lowered his head.

“I’m Jack” He responded.

The high guard scanned him from to toe, he seems so much familiar to him.

“If he tries to act, get him down, he might be Agass in disguise… Demons change into whom ever they wanna change into” Zaus alerted him.

“Here, take this scented water to the royal physician at the king’s Domine” The high guard handed a wrapped bowel to him.

“Be careful my eyes are on you Jack” The high guard said, Dario bowed to him as he started walking away slowly.

“This stupid guard doesn’t know that you’re his Prince…if I’m in your shoes, I will just give him a hard blow removing thirty out of his thirty two set of teeth” Zaus said.

“Quite Zaus” Dario muttered.

“Yes your highness” Zaus kept mute.

Entering into the chamber where the king was laid, Dario’s body and face turned cold …he hates seeing this man called his so called father who hated him so much.

“Keep it at the table beside the bed” The royal physician commanded. Dario bowed and proceeded to do what he was asked to do.

He wanted to gasps but kept mute when King Basmus who was slightly unconscious flipped his eyes open to look at him.

Dario immediately lowered his head and pretended he didn’t see it.

The royal physician was busy arranging the medicine he will give to the king.

After placing the scented water on the table Dario turned to leave but he was immediately held by the king.

“Dario” King Basmus muttered so weakly. The royal physician immediately turned to look at them.

“Prince… Prince Dario… Your majesty you’re awake” He stuttered in fear and made to run off in other to alert Queen Lola that the king is awake.

“Don’t move from there” Dario coldly commanded, the royal physician immediately lowered his head shivering so much because of look he saw in Dario’s eyes.

“On your knees and your hands on your head, if you make a step…I will drain your whole family” Dario gave his stern cold warnings, the royal physician immediately dropped to his knees… praying inside of him that Queen Lola should just appear out of nowhere.

“Dario” King Basmus muttered so weakly, Dario turned to look at him, his face was blank…

“My son Dario” Tears roll down his eyes, he was so much weak.

“He just called you son… someone who says you were a nuisance and hated you like one” Zaus scoffed, but Dario kept mute and blank…with no feelings or emotions displayed in his eyes.

“Take” King Basmus brought out a black large wrapped envelope from underneath him as he handed it over to Dario.

“That… that’s…” He made to speak but cough took over his voice.

“What’s that?” Zaus asked but Dario just gazed down at the envelope why waiting for the old sick man to speak.

“That’s my will” King Basmus finally found his voice.

“Will!!” Zaus screamed.

Dario just kept mute.

“I want you to take over me when I’m finally gone, don’t allow the darkness hovering around this palace to prevail…I know you’re a special child Dario…

I’m so sorry for the way I treated you in the past… please forgive this old dying man and fulfill my wish…my…” He coughed.

“He wants you to take over the throne Dario” Zaus couldn’t believe his ears.

“What about Javier your favorite son? He’s the one who’s supposed to …”

“Dario… that’s not my son anymore… he’s a demon…for heaven’s sake not for my sake, for the people’s sake not for my sake…SAVE MY KINGDOM…” He coughed out bI.ood…

“He’s coming…he’s coming like a heavy fire to consume and swallow those he sees…” He coughed out bI.ood again as he immediately held hand Dario so tight.

“SAVE MY KINGDOM FROM THE MONSTER SON…” Saying These words he dropped low and gave up the ghost.

Dario’s heart hitched in so much pains… suddenly he felt a hard and dangerous aura at his back.

“Hello Little Brother, long time no see”
