Kano Pillars technical crew get three-game ultimatum over poor results

Kano Pillars technical crew led by Abdul Makaiba have been given a three match ultimatum by the state government to turn around the fortunes of the team.

The Sai Masu Gida have suffered a dip in form in the second stanza of the current campaign.

The four-time Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, champions lost 2-1 to Bendel Insurance in their last game.

Prior to the loss, Kano Pillars endured consecutive defeats, including a 2-1 home loss to Shooting Stars and a humiliating 5-0 defeat against reigning champions Enyimba.

The ultimatum will start from this weekend’s home fixture against Gombe United.

This will be followed by an away fixture against former champions Akwa United and a home encounter against Doma United.

Pillars currently occupy seventh position in the NPFL table with 41 points from 30 matches.
