The sunlight was pouring into Dooshima’s room each time the wind raised the milk coloured curtain . Prisca and Priscilla had paid her a routine visit .

The twin sisters were wearing a pink crop singlet,that left their stomach and navel on display, with a matching pink Jean bump short . Priscilla was busy chewing gums , popping them like rounds of Ak47
ammunition.

“My second boyfriend promised to get the latest version of iPhone for me when he returns from Abuja.” Priscilla said . “This one is getting old ” she smacked her gums and made a popping sound .

“Haba this phone is still new Na Priscilla why do you need a new one ?” Dooshima asked with surprise written over her face . The twins laughed her to scorn .

“Have you seen the phone Tessy is using ? Her boyfriend bought it for four hundred thousand naira. I will tell Maxwell to get me the exact same .” Prisca added .

“Am I working for the money? Na my maga go buy am , waiting concern me ?” Prisca said giggling, why Dooshima shook her head in dismay. “Dooshima you are here wasting,

I swear to god you’ll make crazy money from this guys, this one you’re always looking for money to buy food, looking for money to buy detergent, if not Old Soldier wife, hungry for done kill you and your baby.”

the lady said she and her sister crackled, Shania was startled, she twisted and turned on the bed, Dooshima turned her attention to her to see if she would wake up, but she raised her buttocks in the air, her knees on the bed and her head on the pillow she continued sleeping. ” Say whatever you like, I can never be like you guys.” Dooshima said the twins rolled on her tiled floors, laughing until their ribs hurt.

” Dooshima do you think you’re better than us? Every woman is an ashawo. If you’re not how come you gave birth to Shania out of wedlock? ” Prisca asked.

” It was only one time, and it was a mistake I was drunk. I won’t sell myself for money. My conscience will kill me.” Dooshima said.

A baby will come and be sucking my breast and it will now fall, and slag like slippers? Tufiakwa!” She swirled her hands over her head, a way Nigerians say ” God forbid!” Dooshima smiled at all their jabs.

A voice was crying and screaming. “Who dey cry so?” Priscilla asked, straining her ears to hear who was crying. ” Is that not Iyua crying?” The two sisters instinctively got up at the same time they ran out of the room. Dooshima followed after them.

“Iyua what is it! Open the door!” Prisca barked.

“Stephen want to kill me oh! Tell Stephen to leave me oh!” she Kept crying from inside of the twin’s room. “four round never do! Ehn because you pay me you want to kill me? I no do again!” Iyua kept crying, fighting for her life. Stephen was wrestling with her.

” My thing never go down! I will double the money allow me do only one time!” He said dragging her to the bed.

“I no do again! Na me send you go drink medicine? You go drink waiting I no know you want come remove my womb! I no do again! I no be cow!” She screamed from inside the house.

“Stephen open the door! Shebi I tell una make una do am quietly! Iyua Na so you go take pay me abi?” Prisca asked. Dooshima was crackling up behind the twins, a little crowd had gathered outside the door.

“Leave me alone! I no do again!” Iyua cried angrily like a goat about to be slaughtered, she fought like an aggressive prey fighting to get away from its predator. She turned the lock open, she tried to open the door, Stephen slammed it short.

“I said you’re not going anywhere! All the money I’ve been spending on you is for what? I’ll take everything I got for you!”

He threatened, at that moment Iyua didn’t care, all she wanted was to get far away from the beast of a man, the force with which he had been thrusting her vagina was demonic. She couldn’t take it anymore.

” Leave the door, take everything I won’t do again. If somebody did this to your sister will you like it! Five rounds in less than two hours! Haba fear God Stephen, see how you were doing it as if you wanted to punish me I no do again.”

She said holding to the door, the man fought to take her to the bed, she held to the door, the twins pushed from outside and the door was thrown open, Stephen ran behind the door to hide his nakedness, Iyua ran into the compound, not minding that she was almost naked.

“Are you mad Stephen! Are you crazy?” Prisca asked when she saw household items that had been broken during their scuffle.

“I swear to God Stephen you’ll buy everything that the two of you broke!” Priscilla snarled. The young man ignored them, he dragged up the zipper on his black jeans and wore his shirt and shoes.

“So you people planned with your friend to scam me?” The man asked with a stern look on his face. ”If I pay one dime motor should jamm me!” He said he was standing six feet tall.

“You said what?” Prisca yelled. “You said you’ll not pay?”

“If I pay thunder should fire me!” Stephen responded, the twin sisters jumped on him and wrestled him to the ground. Prisca smashed a bottle on his head, Priscilla took his wallet and handset.

“Give me my wallet! Give me handset!” He asked, the sisters rushed out of the house, they grabbed sticks and were rushing towards were Stephen parked his Toyota corolla.

He ran faster than an angry wind, he got into his car and did a fast reverse the sisters threw stones at his car he speed off.
